Yeh Volvo are own by Ford but do u guys know Ford are the world's 1st car inventor and they owned cars like Volvo and guess what, they even owned Jaguar.

they still have the same basic strengths and weaknesses volvos are still not that sporty and have good quality and longevity and space saabs have somewhat good aceleration and performance for a FWD car and good fuel economy better than average safety but volvo still beats them in that regard

You can't really compare them like that... Saab may be owned by GM now, but guess who owns Volvo? Ford.

The S60 is barely affected by Ford, as it was in development before Ford took ownership of Volvo. Saab has been owned by GM for about 15 years now. Even if the S60 was a Ford, I would still rather have a Ford than a Vauxhall.

Partially owned.. GM didn't get full ownership until 2000, the same year Ford bought out Volvo. The S60 may have already been in production, but S60 R/AWD were not.

The S60 was in development quite a while before Ford took ownership. I know the S60 was released at about the same time as Ford bought Volvo. Both Saabs and Volvos are great cars. Volvos are, in my opinion, best.

and i like saabs. the world will never know.

okay well Saabs are definitely not safer than Volvos.
