I grew up near the St Dizier AFB. Jaguars where loud, sluggish but rugged (I met a pilot from then Jaguar equipped 1/7 Provence squadron who confirmed that the Jag was a better bomber more than a fighter-bomber). It was used efficiently in Tchad and in the Gulf war in this role. It performed well and gave me my passion of planes. So long, Jag and thx Kobusnl for the vid !

Doesn't this plane hold missiles on top of the wings?
Yes right, but only the RAF used that configuration, the French air force didn't.
the IAF used top missile loading as well.... but its only two AAMs which go on top.... rest go down.
