I LOOOOVE SNAKES.
i'm trying to convince my mom to buy me a corn snake, but she doesnt like the fact that they eat live mice.
Only corn snakes that are raised on live feed should eat live feed. Most corn snakes you buy in a pet store are raised on dead feed and you shouldn't feed them live mice/hoppers/rats because there not used to killing there food. plus the mice/hoppers/rats will kill the snake.
that's not correct i beleve, I mean the snake weather it's raised on dead feed or not always have their natural killing instincts. A snake can never loos its sence of killing or hunting. I went from dead feed to live feed and it has been very good and benefitting for my snakes. They also get more out of all the important vitamins if you feed them live feed.
Yea if yyou changing to live feeed when there young its ok, but I wouldn't once they get past the fuzzy stage. The snake wont be used to eatting live and if you put a hopper, or rat in with a snake thats used to eatting frozen the snake will prob. lose the fight. It won't be used to grabbing the mouse/rat and they'll get bit.

my corn snake cant shed the end of its tail i dont no what to do i am a very expireced snake handeler but iv put him in water

There a shed spray you should be able to get at your local pet shop that sells snakes. You just spray it on the snake and it will help the snake shed.
