well we have a 93 chrysler voyager and its the best car we ve ever had ASWELL AS the best looking

If you want to see a properly designed passenger airbag, see the Acura Legend commercial from August 9, 1992. It deploys toward the windshield, then comes back toward the passenger. I wonder. Why aren't all airbags designed like that? It sure would cut down on child deaths. But so would putting the child in the back.

All cars of that era used the same airbag systems. Read the warnings, CHILDREN UNDER 12 should be in the BACK seat!

I've seen the warnings and I agree. But there is a responsibility on the automaker to properly design the airbag so it minimizes risk to Out Of Position, under 12, and smaller occupants. Add to that: An airbag that can KILL properly restrained 11 year olds can kill small adults as well. And I'm NOT under 12. I'm 15.

Any First Generation airbag can kill a child. No matter if it is in a Mercedes, Toyota, Acura, Chrysler, or Ford. They all used the same design, the same material, the same everything. Some vehicles just had more crash sensors.

There are NO other vehicles where any children, properly restrained, over the age of 2 were killed by the airbag. They were all improperly restrained or totally unrestrained. This minivan had a case where a PROPERLY RESTRAINED ELEVEN YEAR OLD was killed. Honda, among others, uses proper airbag design. No children have been killed due to airbags in Hondas - not even babies.

i dt so but these vans transmissions are faulty

I KNOW! we had a '92 Dodge Caravan for years and we went through 2 transmissions!

all minivans suck, gms are the worst llol
