They can't make another one because Amy Henning, the one who created the characters and all the history and the screenwriting left Cristal Dynamics

She left, but there is one last game in the making right now, albeit on the backburner of CD. Henning left the story to two men (I forget their names). She left a goodbye that says this on the Edios Forum.

There have been alot of rumors about the 6th game, but I'm pretty sure our beloved Legacy of Kain series has ended forever. There's no way they can make a 6th game without Tony Jay. He was such an important character, and with his death, blessed be his soul, the game just wouldn't be right without him as the voice of the Elder God. There are so many rumors that people post in false hope. We must come to the realization that the history of Nosgoth has been left unfinished.
