The genre itself is not popular at all, and PC games are non-existant here (apart from eroge) or are very, very expensive.

There is like some bizarre misunderstanding of what HL2: Survivor is. It's an arcade game... so it plays like an arcade game. It's just FPS and Half-Life 2 themed. There are no plot elements or Alyx or anything, just tons and tons of enemies to shoot and scores to get. Imagine if Half-Life was modeled after Metal Slug. I think it is pretty fun.

Uninspired? It's a semi direct port.
