Myst Reborn

Wow. That was incredibly beautiful. I wish that I had the kind of software to make something like that. You did a grand job with this I'm really impressed.

In a way Myst is no longer 'Just a Game'. This creation is yet another powerful fragment of what exist and continuers to grow. The blend from past to future, is stunning. As I watch you move though the process, an image formed in my mind. Was this a young Rand Miller dreaming of a story of which an end had not yet been written? I note your name and wait, eager to experience what other wonders will come ..... Shorah Isabeth

Ok, from fan of the Myst series perspectives, you were off in a few places: altering the book inside an age and stuff, plus book went with you when you linked out. From a regular film lover perspective: pure genius LOVE it, the music fit perfectly (don't care what ANYBODY says!) The transformation from Myst to Relto was awesome. All in all, very well done. When they finally get around to making the Myst movie, this is how it should be!!!!! 10/10

hey, how do we know you cant alter an Age from inside? anyways, its kind of like the Relto book. this movie is genius!

-thinks- well, I guess you could... I gotta reread the novels to be sure. I dunno how the Relto book works, I never played URU (it's sitting on my desk right now, but I don't have time)

Might want to buy Fraps before filming... seeing the URL at the top of the video kinda kills the suspension of disbelief. And the rain is frozen on the closeups... and as much as I love See-Saw, anime music doesn't fit Myst... and blah blah blah whine... Anyway. You rewrote Myst to make it much smaller and more sparse? Why? And where did you go after you used the Myst book on Myst (or Relto now, I guess)? Nice job matching the similar camera angles, though. Interesting transition effect, too.

Only comment I'd like to say is that originally I had two books, one was the one I was writig in, and the other was to represent a different age (Like Releeshan or something. Unfortunatly on the day of filming (a nightmare in itself) I only brought one book. As such, because I had limited time to film, I was forced to use the same book twice. looking back, maybe I should have put it in my pocket, and then pulled it out again or something. oh well.

Wow even though the logic was kind of off (Linking in the same age and writing it while you're in it) nonetheless the goal and end result melted my heart :) Let's just hope it's still the same age and not a reborn link.....hehe, I'm kidding....And I'm learning Japanese! YAAAAAY JAPANESE Glad you noticed Relto and Myst are similar too :) Yeesha wrote it as a gift to her parents but not too reminding like Chroma'Agana
