I suggest you skip dd-wrt and install openWrt kamikazi or whiterussian. Just be sure you know your way in linux. Maybe dd-wrt is more userfriendly.

argh my kids didn't get to my linksys router, but I had a blackout occur while i was upgrading. Now its a brick and the power led keeps blinking. I have WRT54GS router. Anyone know how to reset this thing? I tried hard resetting from the back, but taht didn't work

Thanks for the advice! I ACTUALLY DID kill my kids and things couldn't be better! I've found that by killing my kids, I have a faster gaming connection, more disposable income, girls are much more likely to get involved with me, and my house is quiet and to myself!
