alright, im tired of this gt-r talk. for one...the gt-r isnt faster than the GT2..but is faster than the turbo..but, who cares about straight line times, porsche road races, and that ferrari f1 comment and porsche needing to step up...porsche is the most race winning company in history of auto sports. just because they dont race f1 doesnt make ferrari better.

You particularly named german manufacturers. And appart from VW they're the pineacle of auto engineering in the world, so I call bullshit on your "discoverings". You just can't have a more complete over the top comfy limo than the E-class, there is no faster limo than the M3, there is no better all round sportscar than a 911. I never heard of electrical problems either, that'd have killed the brand.

no worries, no damper on the mood: 911 turbo faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile than gtr. and better brakes (july issue car and drive). granted the gtr can lap the ring faster - I guess the gtr owner can always tell this to the 911 turbo owner after he beats him off the line at a light.

Care to share where you got those times and how are they official? From what I know, the ZR1 time hasn't been confirmed and the GTR V-Spec doesn't even exist officially! I'd still take the Porsche any day, it's sleek and low like a sportscar should be, not like an overdesigned shoebox (GTR). The ZR1 does look good though...

its faster in straight line, it beat gt2 on nurburgring ring as well as Nordschleife. so its faster in straight line and on track but that doesnt mean its a faster car??!?!

The GT-R is faster than the GT2 around the Ring, yet Car and Driver and Motortrend confirmed that the Porsche is the faster car. The same will probably happen with the ZR-1.
