"Ride and handling of a European car." Apparently the people at Ford hadn't actually driven a European car at the time. I drove a '91 Taurus and nothing about the way the car drove felt remotely European. The front end bobbed on the highway, while the rear end felt very stiff. The steering was really vague. The brakes felt like every other American car around that time that I've driven. Nothing European about that. I do like the Taurus/Sable though.

I've had two Tauruses and this was one of the best designed cars ever. Very well thought out and highly balanced car unlike many other cars. It drives like a crown vic but handles like an escort. And my 94 wagon gets better mpg than my mom's '01 Altima 2.4 4 banger.

Holy Shit! The lastest Honda Civic hatch is'nt the only one with the see-thru grill. Here's a car that had one about twenty years earlier.

i all most got a 1989 with the dig dash it only had 46.000 miles on it so it said looked brand new to but the price tag was 3k to much LOL
