The old E23 7's were and still are beautiful cars. I own two myself, a 79' 733i and a 85' 735i. They may be old but they whip some ass on the road! :)

Amazing....I wish my 735i was running right now. If anyone feels like talking E23s, email me...I have an Italian imported 735i stick that I've been looking to get running. I'm in Chicago so if you're an enthusiast and live in the area, email me!

Where can I find more BMW videos with history, and america for the most part ruined imported BMW's,be it the bumpers or the hundreds of pounds of emissions equipment.
|
Good stuff. My friend's father was an owner of BMW/Volvo/British Leyland Cleveland back in the days when all the foreign stuff you bought on one city block. Mercedes was 500 ft. down the road.
I'll never forget when the E23 and E28's came out, I've owned several fivers and a tii and until I get a mid 80's 911 the BMW is the best car in the World, overall.
For the money, there is nothing better.

I like the "diving board" bumpers. I have them on my 87' E30. They do look kind of ridiculous when you concentrate on them, though..
|
All the visual appeal of a German Buick? That's unfair. Buicks looked like 70's cars well into the 90's! At least the E23 looked slightly newer than it's design date.
|
Great Great Car's but cluck me them bumpers are shocking and let the poor car down so much.
long live the e23
