He must have been around 30 when he had you (profile says your 50). Despite an administrative cap of 20 years for all but those in Washington after Korea (you forgot Korea), your dad managed to be in a war zone when he was at least 45 with 28 years service and at least one teenage child at home. i'm one of the few Americans who aren't on meds - i was taught how to cope and think clearly.
