ahahaahhaha no

Wow, remember standing there in 1992 - the Vulcan made the ground shake and the sound slapped you in the guts! Awesome!

the vulcan was never supersonic it just looks like that because its big and the wings a spread out but it wasnt a concorde old version

Wroughton used to be famous for a couple of things. 1. the RNAS storage yard and airfield. 2. The mental hospital for all the service personnel. you had to be loopy to throw that mass of metal around safley in the sky. Well mega video and pleased to watch. RAF ( retd.) but still a big fan.

concorde was not a "passanger Version" of the vulcan, alot more thinking time and money went into making the concorde. even the olimpus engines had to be changed for concorde. and for the record the vulcan was the worlds first supersonic bomber.

the delta wing has amazing lift at low speed, tis why its so agile. :D

I joined the RAF in 1992 - what a time I had. Got to see a Vulcan doing circuits and bumps! Good grief i can still see it in my minds eye and smell the aviation fuel it burnt and feel the raw power of the most beautiful aeroplane ever built.

Remember being there - what a noise!

"the passenger version" of WHAT?

of course they were, that was their advantage
