So true, i mean 'faceman' in the cockpit, hell yeah! I like the new bsg rather than the old on, but that's my opinion.

At 1:24 there is a VOR. What is the horizon in space???? Its not needed at all LOL

Total ROFL - At 1:21 it shows the VOR. Technically there is no horizon in space so I cant work out why you would need it. If you move to a planet with a gravitational field then maybe you get a horizon if your flying close to the ground. How often does this happen???? So a VOR moving as it did in space is just pointless

You have to remember , this was the 70's. Back then this was a "cockpit electronic thingy" and looked cool. Looking cool in the 70's always came before believability. Of course, if you want to stretch it out you could say it was using the Galactica as it's horizon point, so the vipers always knew their relationship in space to their mother ship. ;)

There is technically an Horizon, in space its called the eclliptic plane. Its the flat disk of the orbits of the planets around a star.

You are so correct! They used lasers in this series and in the new series, their handguns use bullets! What kind of shit is that? For a civilization suppose to be so advance, they still use bullets? Don't even get me started on the Starbuck a woman thing! They even messed up the creation of the cylons! All wrong! Yeah, they screwed it up big time.

as cheesy as it is its pretty cool. Funny thing is i was in the navy till 2005 and this and the new BSG both remind me of being in the navy on deployment on the 2 amphipious assault ships i was stationed on carried marines and helios plus harrier jump jets so both BSG rock for me.
