Near you always - Valmont

this movie is based on the same book as cruel intentions so basicly they are the same movie but in differnt aeras...if you guys liked this movie then check out CRUEL INTENTIONS!

cruel intentions is craaapp!!!! the story is so far different from the book and the acting is sooo bad! i think the best adaptation is dangerous liasons with the incredible acting of glen close, john malkovich and michelle pfiffer. Valmont is good too. I like the acting and the esthetic, but it's not as close to the book as dangerous liaisons

I watched Dengerous Liasions after I watched Valmont, and I couldn't believe that it got more awards and recognition. But then again, people are always more attracted to movies 'glossed over' by Hollywood.

This is cool because here's Colin with the woman (Meg Tilly) who gave birth to his first son!

I love the music! It just seems so perfect for the movie... although I haven't finished the book yet, so I can't be sure what the story is exactly about... Hey, anyone know where I can download free the movie from?

Colin Firth gave me a lesson by Valmont how to contact with women. I'm Japanese and only told to be strong, brave, and calm like Samurai. That's why we tend to be ignorant about love and don't know how to contact with women of course. I'd like to learn European mind to women. That's warmful kind mind^^

Although I love Colin Firth, I have never seen Valmont. I have seen Dangerous Liasions, with John Malkovich, though. It's a good movie, but I get what you said about him being a better Valmont- he's certainly better looking than Malkovich! I can't imagine being seduced by a guy who looked like JM. But Colin Firth on the other hand...
