woo the lancaster is king of ALL aeroplanes. by far the best from WWII.

And the Spitfire...obviously =D That's like automatically the best plane of WWII. I'd say it ties with the Lancaster :)

"LOTS OF BANK FOR A LANC" ... In his book "Sigh for a Merlin" Alex Henshaw told how he used to be able to roll Lancasters, without even taking his cup of coffee off the instrument panel!

Dial in Tex Johnson into the YT search and see how he rolled a 707! Or even better Bob Hoover!
