The biggest chant on this afternoon was "Fergie Out" from the pathetically low number of United fans in the ground that day. 5,000 blues officially in the ground, there were another 4,000 at least dotted around the ground in a crowd of 40,000. When the rags crow about their successes down the years I never cease to remind them of times like these when they would have done ANYTHING to get Taggart sacked - they don't like to admit it ever happened - here's the proof.

BOOM!!! bobby brightwell goal of the world!

Look at the gaps in the famous Stretford End! The myth is dispelled.

I won a competition in the Manc Evening news to be on the pitch before this game. I was only 7 but remember it well! I was sat in the old family stand (L), There were about 8 Utd and city fans. In the next Utd programme there's a picture of us on the pitch. Happy days!! Apart from when City scored and all the City fans went mental! I remember that chance where White is through. I looked away convinced he would score, only to be told he'd missed by my Dad when I dared to look after!

Was at this game. Utd were dreadful and City should have won. Remember the blues in the Stretford end corner and in the main stand and of course the empty seats in the home end!

The worst United team since 1974; but what a diving header from Sunbed.

brightwell, wat a goal!!! city rule

yes mate!!We shoulda won this!
