Hi everyone, nice to see this video has at least drummed up some debate over the past year. The truth is that when I visited Cuba, I didn't know what to expect but I did pack plenty of soap! ;o)

OK, they have soap but it's like waxy lard, like newspaper for toilet paper. I have cuban friends, raised under "patria o muerte, venceremos" (not Miami gusanos) who later defected. I've heard their side. I know a tourist who got sex from a cuban girl who was willing to trade Love for Dove. Maybe she liked him and before shagging asked if he had GOOD soap. Most American girls will shag if they know you got ca$h. It makes more sense that way instead of "cuban girls will shag ya for soap."

banana - Marx said Communism cannot live next-door to Capitalism. Human beings will always WANT what their neighbors have. Capitalism is supposed make you unhappy with what you have or how you look or what you drive. To keep you buying, they must create a NEED. I saw an ad for a burial caskett that said the inside was "extra soft" and "cushy". Cuba and the USA are at either sides of an extreme ugliness. Perhaps the answer is somewhere in the middle?
