this would be perfect for replacing traditional projectors. Either ramp up the unit's resolution, or chain together 4 of them to project a single higher resolution image. also i'd like them to increase the laser power so it's able to go brighter. Laser projectors like this should be the brightest projectors in existance, each pixel should be at least as powerful as a laser pointer spot - why not?

why are there black lines? its not a crt :S

It works just like a CRT but shoots out photons and not electrons...

will both of you just listen to what the guy says @ 1:30 and beyond... those lines are made by the camera, because the projector and camera have different images per seccond rates. E.G. when the projector projects images @ 60 Hz (60 frames per second) and the camera captures the images @ 25 Hz, then the camera will have some point, where it is not fast enough to capture all images. that's why black lines show up.

wow it shoots protons does it svenderson??? Go back to yr 7 science. And go take a video of a television with ur portable camera. SpecialeW is correct. The portable camera takes pictures at a slower rate, and thus leaves out some of the pictures causing black lines.
