Excellent voice and piano.

The spirit of Cash was always in this song... no surprise he ended up performing it.
Some of the covers by Cash are relly great, but this one it way better performed by Cave.
Didn't Nick Cave said that this version is the way he intended it to be? Paying respect to the man right there!
Nice version of Caves' Classic, sure does it justice, I dig the rolling thunder piano at the end! sounds like the Mercy Seat Gates of Hell opening for the Man in Black!
Absolutely great although personally I prefer The Bad Seeds version
Or Red right hand, kenry lee an where the wild roses grow...Much softer although great!
Awesome rendition of a brilliant song by the master. I wish John Cash could live for a hundred years and each year release an album of covers, and his own new songs as well, he didn't do it unless it was going to be perfect... look for his version of One by U2

cquence23 is motherfucking RIGHT! FUCK FUCK FUCK I LOVE JOHNNY CASH FUUUUUUUUUUUCK

I think you missed my point. I wasn't actually condoning the gratuitous use of vulgar language in public forums. Frankly I think that overuse of obscenities serves only to strip the words of their power to shock, (they're much more effective when used sparingly) and to make one appear undereducated and lacking in linguistic skills. Nick's use of such language has artistic merit, as it graphically captures the nature of, for example, Stagger Lee's character.
