i modified a fender 2 12 for the jbl d130 no "f" ...and use it in a fender the twin..red knob twin..or some call it the evil twin..100 watt...any way...its the best speaker for guitar..from buddy holly to zepplin...clean clean pure tone..the jbl d130 uses a 4 inch voice coil with aluminum edge wound wire..and alnico magnet....best speaker ever made for guitar voice and music reprodution. the d120 is the same also but a 12 inch and way more expensive

It sounds too distorted for half volume and no reverb. until 1964?

if you wanted to reduce the distortion, you could simply replace the preamp tubes with lower gain tubes

nice, where is the volume at 8???

yah the settings on that amp is nasty, its too muffly. He should turn up the middle, or the treble a tad.or change the guitar, i dont think a prs is a good guitar to play on a fender amp.

middle , on a 62 fender? presence ?

sure.. the middle control is right next to the volume for the high gain channel.

where's the lead channel then?

There's no middle control on the normal channel.

My knowledge of guitar amps would fill a thimble about 1 tenth but I would gamble that this Fender is all vacuum tubes. It doesn't get any better than tubes my friends. 73, (Best Regards)
