Hi, im Ruby on Rails and people who use me think they are programmers.

i just started learning php on my own, seems easy. i'm not a programmer within the last 15 years but php is the wild west with no structure just like BASIC on the Tandy 486s. If any of you are even old enough to know what that is. The math functions are brutal. Ruby has to be better. I've programmed a punch card machine how is that for old skool punks!? mofo

For the ones that don't know what they are talking about: Ruby on Rails is a midwestern redneck railroad company that competes against the india trade company called PHP, known for its continuing abuse to elePHPants. In the commercial they imitate Mac vs Windows. As you can see these two companies are talking about immigration, which is a known redneck issue. so rails is the only that can migrate from one database into another? have you ever hear about mdb2 of pear? doctrine? criteria? etc... come on these videos are really stupid, all that shit that rails do is inside frameworks like symfony

Sure, Migrations use Ruby, but you have to know what you are doing with SQL to make it work right. Rails doesn't transform people who don't know what they're doing. It still requires all sorts of... thinking.

I think YOU must code in the language which is afordable, and if you are GOOD enough, you can do it in ASP, PHP, etc...since you focus the Objective. I spend my time developing solutions for my clients, both PHP (linux server) as ASP for windows. Call me as a DUMB, but I spend my time to EARN MONEY, not to LEARN a bad known "framework" and jump to the new "train" in Rails...LOL...TIME is Money, and my costumers dont want to know if I used PHP,ASP or ROR. They want a WORKING site!

It would be better to compare frameworks agains frameworks...
