Nah. The commercial doesn't say that. The commercial says: "The Lincoln MKX. The car for hot sexy MILFs!" The girl getting out of the front passenger seat can't be any older than 20, probably younger. Since the mother appears to be 45 or so, that fits. Besides, the dialogue indicates she caught "three perfect waves".

THIS IS NOT SLEEPWALK......Yes, it sounds very similar, but I know POSITIVELY that it's NOT, I repeat NOT SLEEPWALK.......LOL. I can't believe people keep saying that it is just because it's a slow steel guitar piece. SLEEPWALK is one of my all time favorite songs and I know it by heart and have heard it done by several artists. The song in the commercial is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT SONG !!!.......Jeez.....whew, weell that felt good....LOL !

No, it's not Sleepwalk by Santo and Johnny. The music "style" might be theirs, but that's not the song in the commercial. I could swear I heard the same song several years ago on an Meguiars (car wax) commercial.

Wow...how can you not hear the difference between this and Sleepwalk after playing it over and over? The rhythm guitar may sound the same but are in different keys, and the slide guitars aren't even playing the same thing.

According to our resources, the Music that was used in the 2007 Lincoln MKX "Surfer Girl" commercial was recorded by a music house out of New York exclusively for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury and the "Surfer" spot. Unfortunately, it is not available to the general public.

Well, its pretty darn close then!! I played Sleepwalk and this video over and over and this unnamed artist is covering the original Sleepwalk to his unnamed original. Maybe there is some copywrite issues with this song? So its unnamed?
