A fun swim with the bottlenose dolphins of Bimini, particularly "Big Bone" (named for his deformed right pec fin). I was filming the dolphins crater feeding on the bottom, when I heard them sonaring me! Big Bone is an old friend, we've swum together a lot over the years. Bottlenose are typically shy and over time let you get close. They are BIG!

Yes, his pec is deformed. I call him 'big bone', 'cause his pectoral bone protrudes. He's a very friendly bottlenose dolphin and he's usually one of the first in this pod to come close and say hello.
Thats cool that he comes over and says Hi.
Do you have a way of doing the sonar back to him to say hi?
Yes, i do. Can you hear a humming in the video? It's me toning and singing to them thru my snorkel!
After years of bringing people to swim with the dolphins,i've learnt that they're incredibly intuitive and fully comprehend our intentions. Simply said, they feel our love and joy for them.
