The 141 was my favorite aircraft to fly in. It was so hot one time going to Qatar, I dehydrated and got a bloody nose. But I like them better than the C5 to fly in. I was in the 621 Air Mobility Squadron,(621AMOG)

I flew C-141s as a Flight Engineer for 12 years and the cockpit was the place to be on those long flights. There were 2 nice bunks in the cockpit and an overhead loft above the forward cargo compartment that the crew could get quite comfortable in.

beats being crammed into a tiny seat on an airliner. i think 141's are the most comfortable rides ever.

For some reason the recording is a little "high" It's not that bad onboard. You do need earplugs! And as long as the floor heat works and the plane is not full of cargo? You can sleep where ever you want! I was a flying crewcheif on 141's 4 20 years so watch what U say!

I can't really complain...it was a free flight to Europe and the crew were great. It is a beautiful airplane. I salute you for doing 20 as a crewchief on one. That must have been the experience of a lifetime!

Hmm...I think I'd take this over a commercial airliner. I think I'd be more comfortable curled up on the floor of a C-141 any day. :)
