did you type it right? I got the same message, but I found out that there is no space between "compiz" and "config."

it doesn't it says: ERROR: Cannot find package compizconfig-setting-manager PLEASE HELP!

Ubuntu is a operating system, it works by itself, or you can dual boot with Windows, or you can also use the new WUBI in Ubuntu to install it from Vista if you want yes.

is there any way that anyone on here can make a more detailed installation tutorial ? hahha thats copied and pasted from another video like this but yeah. can anyone ?

If you get the latest version of ubuntu, it is already installed with it so all you have to do is just go to the advanced effects tab.
