bonanza, brought to you by chevorlet
Great!
The guitar was played here by Laurindo Almeida, a brazilian musician that lived in California. Laurindo also played in the overture of Twilight Zone,Godfather,Ten Commandments and many others.
When Bob Barker retired from The Price is Right, they showed a clip of him on a Bonanza episode. He won the affections of a girl over Little Joe. I wish I could that episode in it's entirety as I do not remember it.
Most Bonanza episodes had a moral to them that were way ahead of their time. In 1 episode Nevada City hired an Opera singer from out of town. When he got there, he was black, & we can't have one of THOSE sing HERE! The wonderfully talented singer was of course insulted, but he had a chance to save a life, & he did it anyway. Another episode was about a Jewish boy in Virginia City Other episodes were about rejection of Hoss's size In all those good lessons, no swearing, vulgarity or nudity
1 of the best t.v shows. Lorne Green was in 2 of the best shows ever, bonanza and battlestar galactica.
