As a coach of a Bantam female ice hockey team in British Columbia, our kids are encouraged to 'respect' their team mates, opponents, coaches and other parents. As a parent and coach we also help player parents to understand 'violence' is not part of the game either on or off the ice.
Canada's hockey dad, Walter Gretzky say's "If you want to show how tough you are, go into the corner first and come out with the puck".

So a couple little brats went at it, did anyone get hurt? People fighting has existed for 10,000 years...you think it's suddenly going to stop? Heck our leaders (in USA at least) encourage fighting and they use guns and bombs and fight to kill. These kids are using gloves, sticks, wrestling holds, while wearing protective padding and helmets and fighting to let out emotion, not kill. Competitiveness and passion over took them..warn them, box them, laugh it off, and drop the puck again.

Wow Cananda can beat the US in one sport, you guys should sure be proud Montreal. How many medals did you win in the Olympics exactly? In sport in general the US wipes the floor with Cananda. But hockey is my favorite sport and I love Montreal, so I cant give you too much crap. DMX basketball is your favorite sport, thats a sport people play because their pansies and too afraid to get hit in hockey.
when i was 8 and playing hockey, i got kicked out of 3 games for fighting...next game i wasnt there, coach got a child abuss charge lmao!
hahaha funny, take a look at team canada. Every time, every year, every league, we kick your ass. All canadians vs all americans. Thats the real test. And guess what, we kick your ass every time.
