It's amazing that Challenger doesn't get spooked, flying over such loud, noisy crouds. He is beautiful. Thank you for posting this, and for all that you do to for the Bald Eagle protection cause.

In SW Florida the bald eagle has a new threat, the loss of nesting trees. Protected buffer areas are being built in leaving small areas for future nest trees. The USFWS has no plan for when the present day nesting trees die. Only 2% of eagles take to man made structures for nesting. It is unlikely that the bald eagle can adapt in the next 25 years to man made platforms. Without protecting habitat, there will be no future nesting sites and the population will decrease for the last time.
