Gazelle outruns cheetah

When I was little i was always fascinated about the speed of animals.. and tommies have always been one my favorites...extremely fast animals. quick at dodging and zigzagging.. they definitely need a lot of recognition.. perhaps even more than a cheetah... good video. They are the fastest Antelope in Africa (average 50mph).. together with the springbok.

Interesting!. When I googled fastest antelope in Africa Tessebe or Hartbeast popped up every where. Plus, Once I was watching national geographic and the narrator also said this antelope was the fastest in Africa.

I've always wanted to know which can run faster, a Gazelle or an Impala.

Tommies are the fastest animal in Africa, after the cheetah. Impalas are quick; however, they don't have the speed or stamina of a Thomson's Gazelle. Impala can run at over 40 miles per hour. Tommy Gazelles can run in excess of 55 mph.

also, a cheetah never ever hunts if it doesn't feel inclined to chase. its not something that's just fucking easy. it takes a hell of a lot energy and they end up exhausted to the core after every fucking chase, successful or not.

Are you retarded? Stop believing documentaries. More than half of cheetah hunts go unsuccessfully. A gazelle cannot be caught unless a cheetah is within 30 yards. Even then, the gazelle turns really fast and has way more stamina than a cheetah and can juke it. cheetahs are most successful hunting fawns, since they are a bit slower than adults. even still, only 1 in 20 cheetah cubs lives to see adulthood, that's how tough their hunter lives are. speed comes with a heavy price.

lol a cheetah can't do shit to it. a cheetah would probably get critically wounded if the zebra kicked it, and would lack the strength to bring it down.
