damn i wanna invent something too

I have been researching the Semantic Web for about a year now. I never seen this video, but I have to say it sums up the future nicely. He explains it well. I noticed someone said "a great use of wikipedia". Tim Berners-Lee created the Web and the Semantic Web is his idea.

We are at a time in history 100 years down the track where the excitement of Henry Ford and his Motor Car, Alexander Graham Bell, Guglielmo Marconi, Thomas Edison and his wonderful inventions others that paved the development of the 20th Century has been reinstalled into the hearts and minds of those engaged in the development of technology passing into the 21st Century.

The first two nodes of what would become the ARPANET were interconnected between UCLA and SRI International in Menlo Park, California, on October 29, 1969. The ARPANET is the "eve" network of today's Internet. The first TCP/Internet Protocol based wide-area network was operational by January 1, 1983 when all hosts on the ARPANET were switched over from the older NCP protocols. Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn invented the intertnet. Source: Encyclopedia Britannica
