I never got to see the ending to this game, and I remember playing it all the way to the final beast in the lava room.

I couldn't watch the whole video because of youtube buffering, but as this game used the same engine as System Shock, does it have leaning, aiming (/looking up and down) as SS1 got?

but when i double-click the install program, it says choose a sound system.. then speech system , & then the installing from a or b..

Did you get it from an abandonware site? if so, then chances are someone just copied the directory and zipped it. In that case, run the setup program and put everything in there. If it asks you to install, just go ahead and do it. All it will do is overwrite config files you may have changed, no biggie.

i loved and still love this. really gave me the creeps back in 1996. I've seen like 2 groups beginning to remake the game, but both of them gave up quickly :( So you know some guys doing it right now you say?

They gave up? Last I heard on the looking glass forums, some fans were doing it. Don't know the name, but I'm willing to bet it's the same one you know of. Ehhhh well. A guy can dream!

ya.. it is DOSbox.. but i dunno how t0 mount the drive..

and mounting is the EASIEST part. Oh boy, man, you might be better off checking out the homesite's FAQ. You need to learn the ins and outs of DOSbox before you dive into it. Took me a good two years before I felt comfortable enough to mess around with the CVS copy. Just read the faqs, check otut he documentation, and learn from the ground up. If I told you everything, I'd be here for a month teaching you. I wish I could do that for a living!
