This is a sad day. Both for freedom and for choice. This country is big enough to cater for all legal life-style choices.
And you know, Hamish doesn't even smoke!
I shall continue to fight for my country and its freedom to choose. I haven't as yet been brainwashed into the road towards facism. It's unfortunate that so many of our once wonderful citizens have already fallen into that trap.

It is a sad day for freedom. Hamish has lost his license. He is a decent honest man who is now paying the penalty for standing up for the ordinary people their freedom to choose. The criminals are the government who have brought in this evil draconian unnecessary ban. Th elderly blind for whom Hamish's bar was the last bastion of freedom are now cast out into the vile winter Blackpool weather. I despair of this no longer great country!

I am disgusted that a person that refuses to ask a smoker to stop smoking get found guilty of a crime and yet the bouncer who asked a smoker to stop smoking was shot DEAD.

So as of today 2/12/08 Hamish had his premises licence revoked on the grounds that allowing somebody to smoke in a public' place is now described as a "crime and disorder".
No crime there, the major crime is by this government forcing elderly, infirm, disabled out on to our streets in some sort of Nazi smoking experiment.
