Remember the Wings Marathon on New Year's Day? Here is a little bit of nostalgia from those days. My best friend's uncle taped all of the episodes from one or two marathons and he (the best friend) gave them to me literally days before he went off to basic training. I didn't edit out most of the commercials you see since, well, they do show their age. Here is part 1 of 2 of the B-52 Stratofortress.

I remember something I read about the engineers who re-designed the B52 in just one night of hard work before expiring the time for the bidding for the new plane. Someone has better information about this story?

I remember this show from way back. This and Beyond 2000. Then I dunno what happened, they stopped airing good programing and had only animal shows for awhile.

ohh i remember that when i was like 7 or 8 yrs old. i got mad at my dad because he wouldn't change the channel off the stupid animals

They fly this low level? How big a target can you give the enemy gunners? Beautiful(ish) aeroplane. Though I understand they called BUFF's for a reason lol

I love this show. Growing up this was my favorite show in the world. Did they ever release this on DVD?

I saw something similar on the DVD section at the amazon site. I typed 'Wings Collection' and two DVDs stood out, although it concerns the Luftwaffe and Vietnam, respectively.
