ummm...straight jackets dont have locks, its kinda like a belt buckle, and he had to dislocate his shoulder...i hav a poster that shows the process
Thank you formaking the point about the buckles. I was thinking the same thing when I was scrolling down. However, it is only speculated that Houdini was able to dislocate his shoulder. Modern day magicians have been able to get out of straight jackets without doing that.
