Description :	The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp is one of the oldest Fashion Institutes in Europe. It was founded in 1663. Although Antwerp may not be the traditional capital of Fashion, it certainly has no problem keeping up with competition in London and Paris. 'The six of Antwerp' first sprang Belgian fashion design to the international forefront. One of the six is Walter van Beirendonck, current head of the fashion academy. Other famous alumni now work for Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo, Jil Sander and Sonja Rykiel. Atwerp's fashion shows attract talent spotters from the biggest fashion houses, who swoop in on the hottest new designers. We talk to two students and one ex-student from the class of 2007.
