This dude looks really fast... he sure hits the box hard
crappy run....
he takes like 10 lefts. that's really long for a college kid. i do like a 6-step and i'm working on an 8-step
P.S. Make sure to get some video for us to see in July when you win the World Championships again and beat 5.43m (the German Youth Record). And don't let Dad show you up in the gym any more! :-) (Greg)

Great jumping Nico and congrats on winning state... 17'3" is a good mark. Keeping working hard and hopefully we'll see you at Thanksgiving (you have to pick Stanford so we can still hang out!).
and i figured out that nico holds at about 15'7'' or close to 16' on his poles and jumped 17'10'' this year and i know a kid who holds at about 14'7'' who has much better form and he clears 17' with ease.

I would like to know who this high school kid is who clears 17 feet with ease and top offs his pole nearly three feet. He would be someone to watch in college
Nico will go much much higher when he learns how to move his hips faster to the top. He didnt jump 17'10 this year tho.... so far 17'4"
I jump 17' holding 14'6"... there are others that do as well. Nico holds too high for his poles right now.

it must have been the meet record or something
The meet record is over 18 feet! The Simplot Games are one of the biggest and best high school meets in the Northern Hemisphere (including Canada and Mexico students and the islands around us).
