There are lots in England that are lying around unsold, as know one wants them
I have decided to use mine for banger racing, as have given up trying to sell it, maybe a way to recoup some money from the repairs these junk constantly need
I was shocked to see so many alfa's been used for banger racing:) I s'pose if you can't sell them thrash the heap of junk:)lol |
omg i have one now and i cant even make the 10k's service without the car breaking down. i almost replaced everything and its just falling apart. i luv the car but its not worth keeping it if it does not stop breaking down. next owner would be very lucky not too sure if i will sell it or keep it. spent so much money on it already fixing or i should say replacing parts, new actuator, cat converter, pumps, o2 abs sensors list goes on |

i cant stand driving on the right side, it looks ........ |
@MilitantOldLady - those who slate the brand have either A) Never driven an Alfa, or B) had a one but never looked after the car properly.
These are not Vauxhall's, etc. These are cars for people that know cars and how to handle them and look after them properly. If you're looking for a car with no character, stick to your Chavstras, boring Focus' and drug dealers / wannabe gangsters favourite of BMW 3 Series. |
not a bad car really, they do breakdown but major reason are often cheap owners using 2nd rate "original" parts. You must either know the stuff yourself or have a good alfa specialist nearby. MIlitantOldLady , the pre -00 156's had a LOT of problems. TS engines being the worst ones. -01 Onwards they still had the occasional bearing issues on engines. And if you got a 2nd rate "original" cambelt kit fitted it wasnt rare for them to break, bad bearings on some. V6 more reliable. |
super car is only alfa, ferrari and generally italians cars |

I love it Beautiful car!
Anonyme Lombardi Fabrique Automobili |
Handling needs improvement but its well worth it and only needs decent shock. As for not fast for petrolheads?? It can do 0-60 in 6 sec,s! and it tops out (Restricted) 155mph. I will never sell mine because its so much better to drive than a BMW or audi that are v good cars but souless! |
thirsty ,not so much handling, luxury, very confortable ,nice interior ,not fast for petrolheads, sounds nice especially 6 cylinder v6, |
vedere la guida a destra su di un'Alfa Romeo fa veramente orrore |
How strange that experts say that they are always breaking down, and according to JDPOWERS the majority of owners of alfa's claim that they are always breaking down:)lol seems your the only who thinks different:()
me thinks its all porkie pies you are talking militantlady:)lol |
non so che stai dicendo ma se parli ,male dell'alfa ti taglio il cludoride |
i've had 3 alfa's since 2001....i've driven them across europe and britain several times aswell as using them every single day
not ONE has broken down EVER....
156, 156 facelift and now my 159....the only thing i had to replace were the ignition plates on the facelift which is like changing spark plugs
anyone saying they break down has never owned one and is an idiot |
As for putting me out of my misery, the day I got rid of that heap of junk Alfa, was the day I was put out of my misery:)lol |
someone should put you out of your missery |
My father have one |
You bet:) and it was the predictable nightmare other owners had warned me about
I could'nt even sell it so had to give it away:)
They should stop producing this thrash, and as for the awful dealers, shut them down:) there useless |
you have never owned an alfa have you? |
:)Awful rubbish cars, forever breaking down
if you want a cheap one, come to England, as sellers can't shift them, so price's are rock bottom
no one buys them over here, there so hated by people
Alfa stands for (A LOUSY FOREIGN AUTOMOBILE) :) you can also use another word instead of foreign, if you get my drift:)lol |
This car is pure beauty...i used to see a lot of them but i didn't payed attention to it...but when i started to look closer i realized the car is just stunning...i am completely in love with it...i want to buy one ...the shapes, lines of it are pure genius...i have no words to describe how much i like it :D...just amazing |
Learn how to read you idiot,i stated "Brand new" as in strait from the factory to the dealer and from there out in my garage...always caused me troubles and eventually i needed a rebuild engine cuz my crankshaft broke, and yes mr turbostar my 328 is holding up and has now about 275.000 km on it still drives flawless, well i did had to change a mirror thanks to my visit to Paris 2 months ago, look i don't dislike italians or anything i fact i prefer them over germans but carwise....NO MORE! |
It's ok. Owned one for just over a year now. Starter motor had gone the fuel guage dosn't read right and the bulb on the speedo keeps going. Would I get rid of it? Hell no! Best car I have ever had the pleasure to drive. Plenty of torque and sticks to the road like glue! |
You want some fast and down to the point "hardcore" blondie pie?
