Video Title : Chevrolet HHR SS
Description : Go to MYRIDE.COM for more car videos. Since its inception, the Chevy HHR has been about the last vehicle you'd think of when you talked muscle cars. But it looks like that's about to change. Chevrolet has introduced the HHR SS as the newest member of the prestigious SS Family and hopes the car will reaffirm its commitment to the sport compact market.

The HHR could easily make 400+ hp with the right amount of turbo charging, intake/exhaust mods and computer tweaks all with the same engine block, no engine mods or swaps needed.
Get rid of the stupid looking headlights, add a V8 or at least make it something like a Typhoon. I still can not get past the headlights. Too PT cruiser for me.
only 260hp? weak shit....especially for callin it SS....hit the 300hp mark and we'll start to talk
A fat kid on a trike could out run this pooch! Slow Slow Slow!
HHR SS = Modern day muscle car...no HHR SS Panel Version = modern day street rod...yes.
The V-8 is a major part of the Corvette's appeal. It wouldn't really be a 'Vette without the V-8. Maybe they should do a smaller budget friendly version. They could call it the "Minivette". It could replace the soon to be gone Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky roadsters.
so u bought the SS not the base LS or LT model?? plus the bow-tie is suppose to be gold, it's just Chevy law...as for the wheels they aren't chrome, and the SS badging looks good being chrome. Just like on base models...the HHR and LS or LT writing is chrome...it's how it always is. but if you wanted it golden then thats ur choice. i think it'd look bad but it's ur car.
How much do you know about this vehicle. The SS model doesn't have a chrome grill. But all the emblems are chrome as are the wheels which aren't an option. So I had to go after market and get all the emblems 24K gold plated so they would all match. I got the wheels powder coated to match the grill. All of this should have been optional from the factory as I ordered this direct and paid cash. I have it finished now but it cost around $36,000 total. Affordable??? That is debatable.
thats the point of panel dude...no back seat. and its supposed to be affordable so you wont get leather dash boards just the seats and wheel, but the SS doesnt come with leather seats DUH! and it does come with chrome/black chrome. if you didnt want chrome u shouldn't have gotten it. maybe you just shouldn't have got the car cuz it sounds like you didnt want it
hi JC, prove me... HHR is still not safely anyway
Lie.. this car seem a great vehicle
OH NOOO.. this car chevrolet HHR is not good design and not safely.. 1 - NO 2 amber yellow lights on taillights for turning sign.. 2 - gas in hole on the right side while a driver on the left side.. 3 - poor design..
they should drop the turbo ecotec in a corvette and call it a corvette FE(fuel efficient)
I have a 2009. It was delivered 1 month ago. I love it. Although GM could have worked with me a little better--options suck on this vehicle, I have to do a lot of aftermarket work. Leather interior, wheels, big shiny and chrome=trashy. I am powdercoating mine black. You also can't get a panel version with a back seat--liability reasons. I have to change both back doors to get the panel look. Mine is loaded around $40,000 when I am finished. Thanks GM.
they do now man, its badass, google it
it reminds me of the cars surfers used to drive in the 50's. love it, but i like the lt more cuz i can afford it and its got chrome. its not a chick car, is it cuz im looking at the scion tc and people say that is
I hope they make a panel version.
awesome!!!
