Wayward, YOU started acting tough and insulted me in a very confrontational way. I don't jump to violence as the first course of action, but when verbally assaulted, I respond in kind. You'll remember that in the fight we were supposed to have, I told you I'd stand there and wait for you to make your move. I NEVER make the first move. I would never hit someone unprovoked-by that I mean a strike on my person. Words have never goaded me into action. I would only strike first if a weapon was held.

Oh, poor you, did you think I was talking about you and I? Nay, I was talking about the countless (well, not countless, but I don't care enough to do so) other times when it happened with other folks. But I only "abused" you verbally when you did so to me ("all bird fans are idiots" etc etc) so you can stop pretending to be the good guy.

I said what I thought about bird fans, that is exercising my freedom of speech. I didn't expect to get aggressive threats thrown my way in the bargain. But they came and came so I defended myself. Don't try to turn this around so you can appear blameless. Your biggest fumble was to act tough only to shrink down to a little mouse when I answered your challenge. They too were exercising freedom of speech, but nay, you are the one in the right! If I am such a shit wad, why are there multiple challenges open to your multitude of accounts that are left unanswered? Because "you can't trust that I will show up?" Come on, pisspants, prove you are a man.

The people on both sides of an argument are exercising their freedom of speech, and both think they are "in the right". Is that not so?
