Here's part 2 of a complete runthrough of Quake II for the PSX finished 100%.
These are different from my original videos. They're played much better. I even cut 7 mins off of the first two hubs!
Of note, since people asked this. The music is by Sonic Mayhem. The game consists of tracks from the PC version and its expansions. Nope, don't know the track names, sorry.
Of the two ports (the other being N64) this is the surprisingly the superior of the two. Thanks to the programming geniuses at Hammerhead this game is running on a mere 2 megs of memory!
Great graphics, great sound (more music than the PC!), and still very fun. The uber-sensitive analog controls take a while to get used to however...

1st PFS i ever played, loved this game so much, was so fun. i was quite young when i played this. brings back awesome memory's
im playing this game now!
Very impressive port and the loading times are very fast and far in between, specially considering games like Resident Evil that need to load every room.
Reminds me of how impressive the RE4 PS2 port is by having enormous areas without having to load by every door.
The port sucks! It's technically deficient from the original and removes a whole lot of content (including levels) from the game.
You can't do much better on a console from 1995. I think it pretty much contains the essential from the PC version with some parts changed around to accomodate the airducts for loading.
Music are the best :D
Interesting port. Theirs no longer an inventory system and items are activated on pickup, brings back the feelings of old Quake. The music track appears to be random, you re-entered two levels with a completely different track. I see what would be one level is infact split up into sections, probably due to the memory capacity of the PSX?
This port looks pretty iffy about aiming, you need to get the crosshair spot on which would explain why your opponents hammer you at times :(
Played this on Playstaion and PC with ePSXe emulator.best playstation emulator for pc.
