i see why the killed it, it has nothing to do with the lexus until the last 2 seconds, and informs the viewer more about how a chicken sends morse code to your tv than it does tell you why you should buy a lexus. Also, i don't think it matches any of the previous lexus commercials. Nice concept though, maybe it would go well with some other product in a longer commercial. it just seems that there was an idea with the chicken and a need for a lexus ad, so the 2 were put together w/o any thought

No offense to fans, but I can kind of see where the company might not like the theme. Luxury car company + bootleg-style 1970s-ish motif doesn't seem to really mesh unless they were going to attempt to market to buyers who grew up in the 70s and early 80s. Walter Robot could reuse the video from the entire ad and just paste some other image on the TV at the end. Why didn't they do that?
3.4 million? That's a waste of money even for ads that actually get aired. Just my $2.00.

Actually reconelement I think that you will find that its your 2 cents not your $2.00. Just thought you should know, but thats really cute!

If they want to get classy then they should learn from johnnie walker commercials... now those are great.
|
hahaha this commercial is weird and strange but for some reason I like it
|
killer ad.
must...buy...lexus....
|
I see what they were trying to do, but I definitely see why they cut it. Too hokey. Didn't hit the mark.

"And for the record, you don't put AN question mark at the end of a statement"...
You speak very well. I believe my punctuation marks are petty compared to your grammar!?!
|
actually his grammar still communicates the point whereas your "?!?!?!?!?!" confuses the reader.
