melvyn, if you quit i swear i'm gonna boot you up the arse! o.f.i.t.n was the highlight of bbc 90's (and beyond). you're time will come but dont give yourself a hard time about life choices. this is real drama at its best.

Our Friends in the North is as good as any TV drama I've seen over the years. My wife learned more about the North East in watching that than she had in the four years since she had moved to this country. Melvyn, you were great in the part of Sean - that scene on the Quayside in your clip was really well done. Good luck with your career and keep on keeping on!

I loved this show, I was about 18 and was glued to the box, all the other times I was bedding girls and getting pissed, but not when this was on! Excellent drama

The first part is Myself in our friends in the north, then it is the community film and then the last part is a workshop at the actors centre, the first part of it is expressing anger at someone and the second part i am tied up by my deaf girlfriend as she thinks i dont show her enough commitment so she has me tied up and is brandishing a knife, i was not to speak only to give the director something to cut from my expression's.
