I have to disagree. Metal came before Nu Metal and is still alive while Nu Metal has been fading since 2000. True, a lot of bands aren't just metal, there's lots of crossovers. but to say Nu Metal "raped" regular metal just isn't true.

Yeah, well Nu metal is just my taste in music. When I listen to Nu Metal, it moves with my soul perfectly. Theres not much I can do about it. But you can probably agree with me that Nu Metal is Wayy better than this Gay Ass Pop Punk Era that is finally fading.

Yes, I certainly agree with Nu Metal being far and away better than pop punk. And there is nothing wrong with Nu Metal...SOAD and Slipknot are 2 of the best bands ever IMO and have had lots of success.

Yeah but I hated Hypnotise and Mezmorize. those albums ssucked. But all of korns stuff is great.

Moreover, you seem to forget that Grunge is dead, and Nu Metal also, is pretty much dead (Especially Spinshank who split ages ago, numbnuts). Not to mention it is a kind of metal. The word metal has rarely been applied to something as a single word - the existence of bands which are just 'metal' is new. Even heavy metal is still going strong, and that's the oldest kind of metal. You can't kill the metal, weakling.

You are incorrect. Gruge didnt die wen Kurt died, and Nu Metal is already having a massive comeback. Nu Metal is gonna come back even bigger next year when Korn releases thier new cd (Produced By the original producer). They are returning to thier heavy roots. And you know what motherfucker, EVERYBODY IS SOMEBODY. Nobody's under the radar. Thats why im listening to you right now... Because you are somebody and your conversing with me.

Alas, grunge is dead. It doesn't amtter whether or not it died when Kurt did - Grunge actually died a slow death for a few years after that. Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and Peral Jam - the big grunge names, they're none of them still releasing albums. Likewise, Nu Metal is stil metal, just like Heavy, Black, Death, Thrash, Power, Industrial, and Symphonic Metal are. Plus, Korn already tried going back to their roots with Take a Look in the Mirror, and that was shit.

Take a Look in the mirror was awesome. And Alice in CHains is releasing a new cd this year. All Korn's Cds are good.
