they used to cut the ending after Bugs said "I wish...I wish..." on TV. The black face singing was(is) considered racist.

I can't really see the racey part. If it's the girl, damn we have A WHOLE LOT more of that on todays tv. Which sucks, btw ;) This old cartoon is the awesome! I love Bugs Bunny

The banned "racy" part was the girly "pin-up" picture posted on the tree. Censors were a lot stricter in those days, especially where kids programming was concerned.
