Love it
I have rarely witnessed film-making that fails so consistently on virtually every level as this fiasco does from start to finish. I was literally stunned. I knew that the critics have been trashing it mercilessly. But, the creator of this re-make (Diane English) had the foundation of a respected classic ready made for her plus 14 years to fine tune it before presenting it to audiences. Considering all that preparation, this is absolutely disastrous. A turkey. Pure shit.
OMFG! I cant wait Eva Mendes is soooooo hot! I would plow that till next July!! hahaha
i love it!! cant wait!
a major disgrace to the original. The original will always be better
This is a travesty. The 1939 version is a classic, and you don't mess with classics. Meg Ryan, Annette Benning, Eva Longoria, etc., cannot hold a candle to Norma Shearer, Rosalind Russell and Joan Crawford. To try and remake this and update it (Jada P. Smith as a lesbian - great - political correctness rears it's ugly head again) is ridiculous. I hope this movie flops big time. The dialogue in the original is crisp, witty and clever. This trailer makes me want to barf.
the 39 is a classic, but this could turn out to be funny.... as far as political correctness is concerned , i dont think how butterfly mcqueen was treated in the classic would go over big today...lets wait and see how this turns out..
its actually eva mendes ....
I agree on this a little bit. A miracle could happen and this will actually turn out to be a good remake. Although I don't know how likely that is judging from the trailer. But there's no way any of those ladies can outdo Joan Crawford, Norma Shearer and Rosalind Russell.
