The first 5 seconds of the clip CLEARLY show that it is daytime. If the power cut was 5 hours earlier, there would still have been daylight. The lights wouldn't be on.

that was an exceptionally bad commercial. wow. had it aired in 1995 it might have been tollerable though... whatever, if atari can't make a good, they better know how to make a good game.
