Ctae Blanchett and Helen Mirren are two of the best actresses of all time. Their performances are always intense, thruthful and intelligent. Can't wait to see "The Golden age" within a few weeks.

Well, it was not bad, but the first film really blew me away and this one did not.
In the golden age, everything looks beautiful and the acting is excellent, but there is not any development in the characters. Maybe the most important difference :in 'Elizabeth' we see the development from a young, innocent girl to The Virgin Queen. In the Golden age she just observes, but seems to be unaffected at the end.
