BMW copied Buick by making cars.

BMW made cars in the 1920's already and their two kidney front was seen then already what connection they could possibly have to Buick I don't know

Bmw's 5 series headlights are more dramatic. Buick's is more smooth. Same for the taillights. If anything, buick copied Lexus. But it is a nice looking car.
