Dolphins are no perfect, friendly creatures from heaven. They're just wild animals. Carnivors. Hunters. I still love them just the way they are. They don't have to be perfect in my eyes. It's very sad for the victim (pilot whale-calf, in this case), but wild will always reamain wild.

Bottlenoses are known for rough play, killing porpoises and other smaller dolphin sub-species and even gang rape (per National Geographic). This must have been a group of maurading males acting like hooligans. Poor baby pilot whale. I hope it wasn't too traumatized.

those arnt bottlenose by the way. the beak is way too pointed and bottlenose dont have a striped pattern on their sides
